Every story we publish starts the same way: someone sits down, listens, and pays attention. We spend time in neighbourhoods across the country — on porches, in corner stores, at community centres — before a single word is written. The goal isn't to summarize a place, but to notice the small details that make it particular.
We're not a news outlet chasing the next big event. We're more interested in the ordinary Tuesday afternoon, the regular at the diner, the mural nobody talks about anymore. That's where city life actually happens.
